Welcome! I am an educator who loves exploring how people learn, and how technology can help us learn better. I spend my days designing faculty development programs, researching AI in higher education, and writing about the intersection of cognition, creativity, and emerging technology.
My recent dissertation research included a study about how generative AI is changing the way faculty teach and design learning experiences. I’m also fascinated by the broader relationship between human thinking and technology, and the history of technology in education.
When I’m not researching or writing, you will find me gardening, bird watching, or walking through the woods with my husband and our dog, Teddy. I also enjoy puzzles, playing board games with my two sons, and watching classic mid-century films.
If you would like to explore my ideas further, visit my blog or find me on LinkedIn. I would love to connect with you!
Warm Regards,
